Responsible minerals procurement policy

We do not procure minerals from conflict zones or high-risk areas

The profits generated by the mining and trading of minerals in conflict and high-risk areas provide a source of funding for armed groups and rebel forces.
There are also cases where it can lead to money laundering, environmental destruction, and fraudulent transactions.
We recognize that such mineral-related issues are important social issues, and we do not procure minerals from conflict zones or high-risk areas where there is a risk of human rights violations or support for armed groups.
We identify and assess risks in accordance with the due diligence guidance set out by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and we carry out responsible procurement.
